Nestled in the peaceful cloud forest within the coffee producing regions of Matagalpa and Jinotega, in Nicaragua, Finca San Jose de las Nubes is a small family owned farm producing Caturra, red and yellow Catuai, and Maragojipe varieties.

The farm is situated 1,200 meters (~3937 feet) above sea level where microclimates are ideal for growing specialty coffee.

The farm produces Arabica coffee varieties Caturra and Catuai, all grown under managed shade. At this altitude and shaded by trees, coffee cherries ripen slowly. It is this gradual ripening that allows them to develop a distinct fragrance, aroma, body and acidity.
